Hartree–Fock Analysis of Atomic Properties of Five–Electron Open-Shell Ions with Atomic Numbers (16–20)
This work presents a comprehensive Hartree-Fock (HF) analysis of key atomic properties for five electron systems in their ground state, focusing on the ions S+11, Cl+13, Ar+13, K+14, and Ca+15. The investigated quantities include the electron-electron radial density distribution D(r1; r2), one-electron radial density distribution D(r1), two-particle density ΓHF(r1; r2), interelectronic distribution function f(r12), as well as expectation values, standard deviations, and energy expectation values for the 1s, 2s, and 2p shells. These parameters are essential for understanding electron correlation effects and the atomic physics and chemistry of the studied ions. All calculations were performed using a dedicated computational program developed in Mathcad 15, enabling precise evaluation of the above properties.
