Advanced Physical Research is an open access Journal, publishing fully peer-reviewed original and review papers as well as brief reports on topics in all areas of theoretical and applied physics. The journal provides a platform for researchers who wish to summarize a field of physics research and share this work as widely as possible. The published papers provide an overview of the main developments on a particular topic, with an emphasis on recent developments, and sketch an outlook on future developments.

Abstract

It was found that the structure of Ga0.5In1.5S3  crystals, characterized by TOTE and TOTTOOE structural types, with the replacement of 1/3 of the gallium atoms by copper atoms, the Gu0.5Ga0.33In1.5S3   structure becomes the TOTTE type (a = 3:861Ȧ , c = 30:915 Ȧ, sp. gr. P63mc), and with the subsequent replacement of 1/6 of the sulfur atoms by selenium, the Gu0.5Ga0.33In1.5S2.5Se0.5 structure becomes the TOTTE type (polytype 1T: a = 3:866Ȧ, c = 18:695Ȧ, sp. gr. P3m1 and polytype 3R: a = 3:866 Ȧ, c = 56:085 Ȧ, sp. gr. R3m). The advantage of a new continuous electron diffraction rotation method for studying samples consisting of mixtures of polytypes with large weight differences is presented.
