Abstract

The study analyzed the impact of demography on macroeconomic indicators based on statistical indicators. According to the “Millennium Development Goals” adopted by the UN, ways to eliminate extreme poverty and hunger were analyzed. The dynamics of demographic indicators of Azerbaijan over the past century were also analyzed and reflected in graphic images and tables. The problem of urbanization and devastation of villages in the country's economy was studied and analyzed. By analyzing the number of employed people according to the classifier of types of economic activity, economic development trends were shown. The problem of “hidden unemployment” that demography can create as one of the problems of macroeconomic factors was revealed.
