This research aims to recover the essence of dwelling and alleviate the existence of street children by restoring their fundamental life rights and obligations. Hence, the vessel is designed to develop street children's characters, interests and talents. The research method used is qualitative with a design approach that considers the following indicators: a) Space creation based on the results of the street children questionnaire to understand their needs and preferences; b) Space organisation, utilising occupancy theory and narrative architecture to create a meaningful spatial experience; c) The massing of the building is based on a narration of the poem “Children Learn What They Live” by Dorothy Law Nolte, which emphasises the importance of the environment in shaping children's character; d) The application of Smart Building systems to improve energy efficiency and support the economic sustainability of the project. These research findings catalysed the development of street children's talents and interests through formal and non-formal education, thereby improving their living standards and contributing to society.
