In this research, a series of new 1,2,4-oxadazole derivatives(3a-e). The new S-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl) 2-cyanoethanethioate (1) has been synthesized was afforded via the reaction of 2-mercaptothiol with ethyl 2-cyanoacetate. As shown, thioester (1) has a cyano group in its structure, which was then used to make the amidoxime compound S-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl) (Z)-3-amino-3-(hydroxyimino) propanethioate (2), by the addition reaction of hydroxylamine hydrochloride with pyridine as a base. The new 1,2,4-oxadazole derivatives(3a-e) were obtained by reaction of amidoxime compound (2) with several carboxylic acid chlorides/ The purity of all synthesized compounds was determined using thin-layer chromatography (TLC).
