The first special issue of the journal New Design Ideas is now published. The issue entitled Generative Justice in Design was edited by the Guest Editors, professors of the University of Michigan, USA, Audrey G. Bennett and Ron Eglash. The Special Issue considered papers on the different aspects of design issues on the decolonizing the circular economy, how design in generative justice exposes green washing and empowers Indigenous, anti-racist and queer theory critiques. How are designers facilitating generative justice, creating new innovations for unalienated value circulation that address grassroots empowerment, egalitarian futures, and ecological collaboration with our nonhuman allies?
The interesting topic of the issue was attractive for the specialists and as a result very interesting papers from different universities and schools of USA and United Kingdom have been received, evaluated and published.
