This is to inform about an issue which was noticed very lately while studying the topic on different graph classes. We noticed, the definition 2.1 given in our article "On Degree Domination In Graphs" published in Vol.9, No2, 2024 of the Journal of Modern Technology and Engineering needs to be corrected. Except this definition including section 2, the results obtained in Section 3 and Section 4 are completely original and adapted to the new definition given. Before submitting every research paper we always check open databases for similarity. However there wasn’t any similarity results on the main definition during this stage. The article that we noticed recently titled "Degree Domination Number of a Graph" published in 2020 was given as an open source in 2024 in Research Gate after the publication of our paper. However, section 3 and section for 4 are completely different, considering the similarity of the definitions we gave in Section 2 and the similarity rate of the results found on certain graph types, we kindly request that the article to be withdrawn from the journal. Apologies are offered to readers and the editorial board of the Journal of Modern Technology and Engineering that this was not detected during the editing process.
