Abstract

The purpose of this article is to solve numerically the second order differential equations of Duffing type using Piecewise constant argument method. Modelling of some differential equations under the various physical problems with the initial conditions are solved to demonstrate the effectiveness and the accuracy of the piecewise constant arguments. We compared the present work with some recently approximate results in several examples, revealing that the proposed architecture is effective and accurate. Realization of this method presented efficiency of  finding the approximate solutions of the Duffing-van der Pol oscillator for the cases when the values of the parameters are non integer or large integer numbers.
